Subject: Son wants to spend more time with divorced dad
Message: Please help. I have shared custody of my 10-yr-old son with my ex-husband. My son keeps asking to spend more of "our" time with his dad. Other friends who let their sons spend progressively more time with dad-only eventually ended up losing contact with their sons, resulting in behaviors that weren't very positive. I don't want to lose the connection I now have with my son, but it makes me feel guilty to constantly tell him "no" when he asks to stay longer at his dad's house. How would you recommend handling this? Thanks to you all!
