How to Handle Our Enemies

It’s easy to be nice to people who are nice to us, but have you ever tried going the extra mile for someone who hates you?

Jesus tells us that we are to love everyone – even those who are nasty to us. If we only love those who are good to us, we take the easy road. God always calls us to take the high road. It may be a tough climb, but it is worth the

extra effort.

Who do you pray for? Do you ever pray for those people who are mean to you, hurt you, or just plain annoy you? Is praying for your enemies an easy thing to do? What do you think will be the outcome?

PRAYER

Father, it’s tough to love people who are mean to you. But those are usually the people we need to pray for. Help us to follow your command and pray for our enemies; those who use us and are mean to us. Help us, also, to see Your answers to our prayers.
